Another week, another day on site. And a cold and at times drizzly one too…I started off the day with one jumper and ended the day with three as well as an anorak. The uber complicated screen was finally finished by Dave and Andy, as well as the remaining ‘canvas’ screen. The completion of the screens waa greeted with muted celebrations by the team:

Work is progressing well on the shower tray (India) and the frame for the threshold (Dave and Martin). Heather is doing a stirling job stipping paint from the door in preparation for sanding, always patient, never complaining (helped by Andy). The once ‘under threat’ canopy is now definitely happening, worked on by Juliet and Daniel (who wins the daily award for biscuit provider…we even had sweets as well!). Rachel has perfected the art of the ‘chisel schwisel’ and is making shelves to hold apples (why? you may ask….come along on Friday to find out). The pod is partially clad in very sexy white lycra…

…hopefully more can be found to finish the job.
All being well, tomorrow will be the final day of all out construction at the sawmill, with installation on site beginning on Wednesday. And yes, we are definitely camping…Wednesday, Thursday and Friday!
